And be sure to have your gardening and derby car trivia ready, so you can challenge Dr. Greg to a question or two! Can you stump the doc?

Dr. Stephanie Serpa
Dr. Stephanie is a local girl, born and raised here in Fairfield County, so she knows what local smiles are made of. As a native Stag, she graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science, then moved to Manhattan to attend New York University College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
From there, Dr. Stephanie continued at NYU and Bellevue Hospital for her pediatric dental residency training, where she was aptly appointed Chief Resident. And though she loves NY, Dr. Stephanie happily returned to Fairfield County following her education for the opportunity to help maintain beautiful, healthy smiles, and provide the best dental care to children who grow up in the place she knows as home.
A piece of NY that Dr. Stephanie and her husband Joe keep is their love of baseball and cheering on the Yankees – a love they intend to pass along to their twins. Dr. Stephanie also enjoys trying new recipes, traveling, and fitness. You can often find her at a nearby beach or park, soaking up the sun with her family, and playing Frisbee with their boxer dog, Regina.
Dr. Susie Shim
Aloha from our very own Dr. Susie here at Kids First! Dr. Susie grew up in the Midwest, but followed the sunshine to Hawaii, where she practiced as a general dentist. This is where she realized her true passion for working with kids, so she took a giant leap, leaving the sun and surf behind to fly cross-country and pursue a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry in the Big Apple – New York City.
It is Dr. Susie’s goal to make each visit a fun and enjoyable one. She believes it’s important for children to have positive dental experiences early in order to foster a lifetime of excellent oral health. When Dr. Susie isn’t busy making smiles shine as bright as the Hawaiian sun, she enjoys Zumba, traveling, outdoor activities, exploring new restaurants with her husband Dr. Matt, and spending time with her son, Danny.
Dr. Dave has been practicing and perfecting pediatric dental care since 1986, so he knows how to make the best smiles! He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Columbia University, where he also completed his pediatric dentistry specialty training.
Not only did Dr. Dave complete a fellowship in pediatric dentistry at the Rose F. Kennedy Center of the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, but he maintains memberships with professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, and the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr. Dave is also a talent in advanced orthodontics, and has a unique perspective on how mouths grow.
When he’s taking a break from crafting award-worthy smiles, Dr. Dave enjoys keeping active. He is a distance runner, and loves cheering on his favorite sports teams. But of all the things that Dr. Dave most enjoys, his favorite is spending time with his children and grandchildren.
